Capitan Hook Pirates of the Caribbean Dinner Show and Cruise Description
When you come to the pier, you'll board either the red or the green boat, both reproductions of 17th-century Spanish galleons. A crew of eye-patch-wearing pirates ply you with unlimited drinks, jokes, and lore during this family-oriented dinner show. Your ship cruises the nighttime waters, you go below for an elaborate buffet dinner, and then, in the late-night culmination of the evening, the two ships stop alongside each other to battle it out. One captain has stolen the other's wife—will she be safely rescued?

Kid Tips
Babies: Though there's nothing here for babies, yours will probably be lulled to sleep by the motion of the water before the action and loud noises begin.
Toddlers & Pre-K: Toddlers will either be mesmerized or terrified. Preschoolers will love the kids-only treasure hunt, the buffet dinner, and the play-acting pirates though it may be a little intense (and late) for them.
School-Age Kids: The pirates, dancing, a buffet dinner, and a battle with an enemy ship all thrill school-aged kids.
Pre-Teens & Teens: The jaded teen might do some eye rolling, but the dancing, sparks-flying battle, and lobster dinner will please most.
Planning Notes
- Go early. So you can explore the ship, have your picture taken with the pirates, and find the seats that you want (once you pick an area onboard that's where you'll stay all evening.)
- Bring jackets. No matter how hot it is on shore, it gets chilly out on the water.
- Expect a late night. The show is supposed to end at 10:30 p.m. but getting hundreds of guests on and off a Spanish galleon takes time. Don't expect to be home much before midnight.

Pirate Costumes Not Included

What we loved:
A "near" genuine pirate adventure, complete with cannon fire and duels.
I took the family to Cancun last December, and we decided that the Pirate Cruise should be our final night treat, and what a great idea that was. Not only did we get a pretty decent Lobster and Steak Dinner, but we also got a show that the kids still talk about. Since I read about the excursion before our trip I decided to break out the Pirate Costumes from the previous years Disney Cruise there is a Pirate Night on them in case you didnt know and it certainly made the entire experience all the better for our six year old girl and seven year old boy. It also made for some of the best pictures of the trip. What a perfect way to end our wonderful trip to Cancun. Read More
