Wellfleet Wildlife Sanctuary Description
Five miles of walking trails criss-cross this popular sanctuary, giving you a close-up view of the saltmarshes, pine forests, and heathland that define the Cape Cod landscape. Wildlife -- especially birds -- can be seen in abundance. Plenty of educational, kid-friendly activities are offered too, including a marsh cruise, dune hike, and lessons on tracking box turtles.
