Chatham Railroad Museum Description
Raise your hand if your little one can sing the Thomas the Tank Engine ditty "... they're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight...."! If your kids (or you) love trains, this museum is a delightful stop. Housed in an old railroad depot, the collection includes a bright red caboose (the perennial kid favorite), models, and antique train paraphernalia that'll educate and entertain. All aboard!
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: Although you can't ride the rail here, the museum's exhibits will fuel interest in railroads.
Planning Notes
- Pack a lunch. There's a wonderful playground across the street.
