The authentic Steamboat Natchez, a gorgeous example of a 19th century sternwheeler, has two-hour harbor cruises and dinner jazz cruises that make a fun splurge for older kids. The harbor cruise comes with an optional creole-style lunch. Grab a seat indoors or out and take in the Mississippi at one of the world's busiest ports.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Little kids will love the calliope concert on the harbor cruise. Skip the optional (and expensive) creole lunch for little kids or those who won't like very spicy foods.
School-Age Kids: The breeze on the river will be welcome when kids are hot and tired.
