Aloha Stadium Swap Meet Description
This isn't just shopping, it's a cultural experience. With more than 700 different vendors from around the world offering exotic imports, handcrafts, and artwork, the swap meet is like visiting lots of different countries in a single day. Your kids will also have the opportunity to hear a variety of different languages spoken as the vendors and shoppers barter and bargain. Hawaiian-made products mingle alongside pre-packaged ethnic foods, T-shirts, flowers, and souvenirs. Plenty of snacks are offered too.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: While babies and toddlers might find the swap meet to be too much, older kids will find lots of fun and distracting things to do and see.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Budget-conscious teens will enjoy searching for a souvenir bargain.
Planning Notes
- Wear comfortable shoes. With so much ground to cover, comfortable shoes are essential.
- Bring cash. You'll be better able to bargain with the vendors.
- Prepare for the sun. A hat and sunscreen will help keep you from overheating. And don't forget to bring along some bottled water.
- Get there early. Popular items may sell out.
