What we loved:
Waterfalls, Pools, Black Sand Beach...
What we didn't love:
Drive was tedious and scarey at times
My husband and I took this trip on our honeymoon -- but we did it by guided tour. To this day we always say that was probably the best way to go. We saw so much and we were not stressed out about the driving. The way back would have been horrible after a long day sight seeing. We even got to stop at the Maui Winery which was very nice and a great place for unique souvenirs! We stopped quite a few times with the bus tour: Waterfalls, Black Sand Beach, RainForest, Hana Florist, Maui Winery were the highlights for me. I cant imagine taking a baby on this drive, I would definitely wait till my son was at least 5 before I would consider it.
