Sugar Cane Train Description
The Sugar Cane Train is a fun treat for younger kids who are train buffs. The 12-mile round trip journey is leisurely, and at one point crosses a 325-foot wooden trestle with an elevated and panoramic view of the neighboring islands. Kids will also enjoy the station in Lahaina, which uses a turntable to spin the locomotive around, and the Kaanapali station, where the train is filled with water for steam. A conductor narrates points of interest along the journey.
