Marine Education Center and Aquarium (MECA) Description
There's plenty of wow factor here for any kid fascinated by ocean life. MECA showcases sea creatures and habitats native to the Georgia coast. On the first floor, tanks hold more than 200 types of marine life from turtles to fish. Upstairs is home to ancient fossils, from sharks and giant armadillos, to mastadons and wooly mammoths.
