Tybee Lighthouse Description
More than 270 years old, Tybee Lighthouse is one of the most beautifully renovated lighthouses in the country. Kids will get to blow off some steam climbing the 178 steps to check out the nine-foot-tall lens. History buffs (and bakers) take note: Before 1881, lard was the source of fuel for the light.
