Skidaway State Park Description
Choose from both salt and fresh water activities at this scenic barrier island and camping area. Hike nature trails through marshes and Palmetto trees, and keep your eyes out for deer and birds, including rare migrating ones like the Painted Bunting. Kids will especially like climbing the observation tower, the reptile room in the nature center, and a replica of a giant ground sloth.
