Old Fort Jackson Description
An official National Historic Landmark, Old Fort Jackson is the oldest brick fortification still standing in Georgia. It was built before the War of 1812 and served in the Civil War as well. But kids will be most interested in the fort's daily cannon-firing demonstrations.
