Six Flags White Water Park Description
Just north of Atlanta, this is an all-day, or even all-weekend splash of a good time, with areas of wet wonderland suitable for all ages. The littlest ones will love playing in the shallow fountain, sliding down easy chutes, and the squirt gun area at Little Squirt's Island. Older daredevils can test their nerve at the exciting Cliffhanger, one of the tallest free-falls in the world. Try this one and get ready to be propelled 90 feet straight down into a pool of water. If you think this sounds extreme, just wait until you hear the choruses of "let's go again!" Another thumbs-up for this park is that it allows multiple family members or friends to ride the same ride, such as the Run-a-Way River, where four rafters traverse a 735-foot water tunnel, complete with curves and dips for multiple thrills. An added bonus during the summer months are Dive-In Movies on Friday nights, when families can laze in tubes or lawn chairs and watch family-friendly flicks.
