Cité des Sciences et de l'industrie/Science and Industry Museum Description

One dad who has traveled the world with his children calls the Cité des enfants inside the Science and Industry Museum the best children's museum in the world! The Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, which includes the Science Museum, the Géode (an omnimax movie theater), and the Argonaute submarine is, by anyone's assessment, a wonderful place to spend the day with children. Housed in a futuristic building, the Science Museum has a planetarium, a small aquarium, 11 permanent and 4 rotating exhibits, a 3-D movie theater, and an unbelievable array of displays to teach children about everything from astronomy to mathematics. Interested in contagious diseases? Where cane sugar comes from? Primitive humans? Space travel? Strap on your curiosity cap, and blast off!

Kid Tips

Babies: You can borrow a stroller (or wheelchair) for no extra charge at the coat check (vestiaire) on the ground floor of the Science Museum.

School-Age Kids: There are special exhibits called the "Cité des enfants" just for children ages 2-7 and 5-12. In 90-minute sessions kids can build at a mini construction site, play with robots, and enjoy dozens of interactive and hands-on displays.
