Pirates of the Caribbean Description

Animatron pirates along this landmark boat ride shoot cannons, polish off rum, and, as the song goes, "pillage, plunder, rifle, and loot." (But playfully, of course.) New to the adventure is Captain Jack Sparrow, whose eerily lifelike form will have you wondering if Johnny Depp himself is on board. Most amazing: After all these years, those hapless prisoners have not yet figured out how to get the keys from that dog. To fully appreciate the ambience (the indoor venue feels every bit the starry night at sea), enjoy a meal at the lovely Blue Bayou restaurant overlooking the ride.

Planning Notes

  • Bring a sweater. Accuracy of setting includes cold and dampness.
  • Go early to avoid crowds. The popularity of the films has created renewed interest in the attraction.
  • All ages welcome. There is no height restriction.
