Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition Description
The Animal Kingdom's flagship attraction is a marvel of design, an African landscape recreated in meticulous detail. Of course, the highlights are the animals, and passengers riding on open-air safari trucks will get to see lots of them -- rhinos, lions, crocodiles, and giraffes, with a little shtick thrown in about chasing after elephant poachers. Creative design makes it look like there are no barriers between you and nature (thankfully, the lions know better), but that doesn't mean there's no chance for close animal encounters -- of the herbivorous variety.

Toddlers & Pre-K: Young children are required to sit in the middle of the vehicle with parents on the ends.
Planning Notes
- A.M. animals. Morning is the best time to get a glimpse of most of the animals, before the "African plains" get hot and animals are less active. If you're unable to make it early, take advantage of the Fastpass® Service.
- Say cheese. Make sure the camera is ready -- your gang will see many different animals: elephants, giraffes, hippos, and more. Flash photography is not allowed.
