What we loved:

What we didn't love:
Gets really hot, kind of hilly
I took my first visit last year and was quite impressed. We got there at park opening because what everyone says is true: It gets dang hot at Animal Kingdom during the day, even moreso than the other parks. All the natural vegetation acts a bit like insulation to it felt very tropical, even in September. Plus, the aromas get more pungent as things heat up, so keep that in mind if you are city folk! Get there early and split when it gets hot- we spent the afternoon in the pool. Many exotic countries are represented and wonderfully so, right down to native plants, worn looking buildings, wash hanging on a line, prayer flags and shrines and more. We stayed at Concierge level at our resort and got a great deal on a semi-private Safari tour with a small number of guests and one of the animal experts. We traveled off the main tour path and got some great close up views of the animals and some great pictures. I wish I could show more than one here! Its a bumpy ride either way, so look out. Yeti was a great coaster and we loved Kalis rapids. There was lots to see around every corner. We plan to dine at Jicos this year and are really looking forward to it!
