Knowledgeable guides tailor each small tour to the interests and ages of participants, sharing insights and information that will captivate kids and parents alike.
Kid Tips
Babies: Strollers are allowed on the tour, but only those with rugged wheels are advised. Baby carriers are recommended.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Make your teenager's visit even more memorable by signing kids up for a night or feeding tour ($50 per person) or the Big Cat Keeper Tour ($100 per person).
Planning Notes
- Floor-to-ceiling cages. The cats live in fully enclosed cages that are a minimum of 1,200 square feet, allowing visitors to observe the cats' movements while keeping them a comfortable distance away.
- Saturday tours only for young kids. Families with any member younger than 10 that are interested in a group tour must take a 9 a.m. tour on Saturdays (other tours delve into the threats to and health and living conditions of the rescued cats in greater detail). Private tours are available by arrangement.
- Outdoors on a gravel path. The sanctuary grounds are flat and walkable, but comfortable shoes are recommended.
