Celebration Description

This shopping stop is located in the picturesque village of Celebration, well-known as the town that Disney built. Celebration overflows with small-town charm -- it's designed so that residents can walk from place to place (rather than drive), and everyone has a front porch. Stroll down Front Street, which overlooks the beautiful lake and offers many unique gift stores and restaurants, then head up Market Street, where you can shop for antiques and collectibles.

School-Age Kids: If you have daughters, don't miss Pretty Princess Bowtique, which is filled with beautiful hair bows and purses (a little girl's dream come true!). They also have the chic backpacks and laptop bags to delight older girls and their moms, too.

Planning Notes

Let it snow. If you're visiting during the December holidays, make Celebration one of your stops. It "snows" nightly with make-believe white stuff that adds to Celebration's festive feel. Have dinner at the Market Street Café, take pictures with Santa, ride the train, take a horse-drawn carriage ride, and get cookies and hot chocolate.
