SeaWorld Description

Seeing sea lions perform for the first time is a wondrous experience, but nothing compares to the total delight and amazement of seeing massive killer whales dive through the air and splash into performance pools at a trainer's command. And that's just how the adults feel! Kids can't help but be mesmerized by the whale performances at Sea World, but they'll also go crazy for the manatees, penguins, stingrays, and more.

  • Amusement Park

  • Aquarium

Kid Tips

School-Age Kids: This highly active age group will probably spend the most time in the water. Don't forget the sunblock.

Planning Notes

  • Bring bathing suits. Kids will jump at the chance to cool off in Shamu's Happy Harbor, a four-acre water play area.
  • Make a reservation. Sharks is SeaWorld's amazing up-close-and-personal, tank-side restaurant, and it books up fast. Reserve a table as soon as you arrive at the park.
  • Special offers. Check for special offers online throughout the season, like adult admission at kids' prices or second-day-free promotions (trade your ticket in before you leave the park on the first day).

What we loved:
Easy to get from attraction to attraction. Beautiful landscapes.

What we didn't love:
Had to drive 12 hours to get there.

My wife and I took our daughters on vacation in 07, Sea World was our first stop in FL. WOW! We had never been here so we had no idea what to do. The girls wanted to go to every show there was to go to. We did see the Shamu/ Believe show, and thought it was wonderful. Our oldest did not want to see it at first, but at the end insisted we do it again. My wife was set on feeding the dolphins, my youngesty the stingrays. Both of these expierences were great. My youngest ever since has been saying she wants to be a Vet. and has taken an uncanny interest in rays and sharks. If there is any doubt weather you will enjoy Sea World or not, I must say, there is something here for everyone. All the shows are entertaining as well as informative. The ability to get close enogh to dolphins to feed them and interact with them is simply amazing. Learning how rays live while allowing them to eat right out of your hand is a cant miss kind of experience. All in all, one day may not be enough time to truly enjoy everything Sea World has to offer. Read More

What we loved:
Love the shows, the dophins, whales and other animals. Plus the rides!

What we didn't love:
Always too many people, food not too good at Sea World, strollers

We have year passes to Sea World. Get get a hotel room on International Dr and take the trolley to Sea World. Its more of a vacation than to fight traffic. Also love the beer sampling and the class on the beer. There plants, palm trees and flowers are great. Read More
