Venetian Swimming Pool Description
Once a quarry pit, the famed Venetian is probably the only swimming pool on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in the 1920s as part of the one-time Venetian Casino, and was filled with both gondolas and celebrities. Today all the lush surroundings still stand. It's a rare -- and inexpensive -- chance to splish-splash into history.
Planning Notes
- Note age restrictions. Children under 3 are not allowed to enter the Venetian Pool facility, so keep this one for older children.
