We brought our 4 year old kayaking and had such fun. The water is calm and warm. It was beautiful weather. We just stayed along the shore line but that was fine (other people went to see Vizcaya and went to a sandbar--you could see both from the shore line). I saw some kids, maybe about 12 or 13, with their parents learning to windsurf--they were having fun! Can't wait for our daughter to be old enough to learn. What we didn't love:
Nothing.

Our niece and nephew learned to windsurf in two hours--just like they guaranteed! Meanwhile, the rest of us took out kayaks. Our youngest (age 3) sat with us as we paddled our double kayak to Vizcaya. Our 8 year old nephew paddled his own kayak. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The location was great--just 10 minutes from South Beach. We'll definitely go back. The children felt so good about themselves and how well they did--they're bragging to all their friends!Read More
