Kids love the idea of the open market because there's so much to look at, touch, and listen to. And this spot, just blocks from the Capitol, is also historical, since it's the last remaining public market in the city. The weekend scene is a combination market and art museum, with vendors selling pottery, jewelry, clothes and many other goods. Keep the little ones close (it gets crowded), but rest assured they'll be endlessly entertained by street performers.
