Sky Trek Canopy Tour Description
There are zip lines all over Costa Rica, but the Sky Trek and Sky Tram Canopy Tour stands out for the craziness of its thrills. Featuring nine different cables and an observation tower that's a dizzying 72 feet above the ground, Sky Trek will wow even jaded teens who've done canopy tours before and think they've seen it all.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: These advanced zip lines aren't suitable for little kids, who'd likely be frightened. The tram, however, allows children to go with parents.
School-Age Kids: Wear comfortable clothes that protect the thighs, since the pressure of the harness can hurt after awhile. Bring bug repellent and sunscreen.
Planning Notes
- Early morning is best for wildlife and bird viewing. The Sky Trek experience is available at three tour times, early morning, mid-morning and late morning. The early morning starts at 7:30 a.m., which might sound prohibitive, but that's when you'll see exotic birds like toucans and quetzals and have the best chance of seeing monkeys, as well.
