The Eagle Bahn Gondola Description
Whether you're looking for stunning views of the valley, or a comfortable, quick ride up the mountain on your way to Adventure Ridge, the Eagle Banh Gondola -- the only gondola in Vail -- does not disappoint. As the giant capsule glides smoothly up the mountain, you'll take in the surrounding Sawatch, New York, and Gore ranges. After an afternoon at the top (or just a meal), hop back on the Gondola for the ride down. The total travel time is roughly 15 minutes.

Planning Notes
- Bring a camera. You'll want to capture these views.
- Dress appropriately. At 10,350 feet elevation at the top, the weather is volatile and cold.
- Get something to eat. If you're not spending the day at the top of the mountain, at least have a meal. The ride drops you at Eagle's Nest, a huge facility offering plenty of dining options.
- Prepare to learn. The Gore Range Nature Discovery Center also sits at the top of the gondola, and it's worth a visit. Here, you can learn about the mountains and ecosystems surrounding Vail, and learn about the Center's class and program offerings.
