Cross-Country Skiing and Olympic Sports at Whistler Olympic Park Description

Olympic hopefuls will have a blast trying their hand at Nordic skiing, biathlon, and luge in the same venue as world-class athletes in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Slide down the winding luge track, try classic or skate-skiing on the cross-country trails, shoot a biathlon rifle, and tour the ski jump. Kids and grown-ups alike can rent equipment and take lessons, or just buy a day pass and head out on your own to explore the 55 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country trails.

Kid Tips

Toddlers & Pre-K: Small kids will enjoy just playing in the snow —- there's lots of open space for running around.

Pre-Teens & Teens: Older kids will enjoy cross-country skiing by moonlight. Night skiing begins at 3 p.m.
