Dog Sledding Description
Race like the wind behind a team of sled dogs bred for the pure joy of running. You'll begin by winding through a cedar-scented old-growth forest, then on to the Dogsled Adventure's igloo. Once there, you'll snowshoe to one of British Columbia's loveliest waterfalls, the 140-foot Alexander Falls. Then snuggle into an enclosed toboggan and hang on tight while a professional musher races your dogs pell mell downhill on the ride of a lifetime. It's a snowy adventure your entire family will remember forever.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: This tour is suggested for kids 4 and older.
School-Age Kids: Although kids as young as 4 can go on the tour, even older kids may be overwhelmed by the barking, the dogs, the snowshoeing, or the speed. Call ahead to ask about circumstances you may need to consider for your kids.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Dogsledding will thrill even the most jaded teen. They might even thank you for it!
Planning Notes
- Reservations are required. Dogsled tours are limited and can fill up quickly, so call as soon as you book your trip.
- Bring a camera. Professional photographers will capture the moment as you depart, but bring your own camera for the spectacular scenery and candid shots. Consider carrying it in a small backpack or hip pouch to keep your hands free.
- Hotel pick-up can be arranged. Just ask about it when you call to make reservations.
