Model Ships Museum and Trains Museum Description
Fans of boats and trains won't want to miss these two museums, housed in the same building. At the Trains Museum, train-loving kids will quickly become absorbed in the detailed diorama of collectable trains running on three levels. The Model Ships Museum is a treasure chest of model submarines, warships, and sailing ships, plus a 13-foot replica of HMS Hood. In the Sport Fishing Simulator, young anglers can try their hands at wrestling a 35-pound salmon into a boat.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Fans of Thomas the Tank Engine will especially enjoy the trains.
School-Age Kids: Kids who enjoy building models will appreciate the intricate working dioramas, as will fans of boats and trains.
