Granville Island Water Park and Adventure Playground Description
Kids will go nuts at this free spray park with movable water pipes, fire hydrants, geysers, and sprinklers, not to mention the giant yellow water slide and flume. Younger kids will have a blast at a special area just for toddlers, or splashing in the giant puddles that the bigger kids leave behind. Grassy knolls offer plenty of space for grownups to stretch out on towels while the kids entertain themselves—guaranteed.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Younger children will enjoy the smaller scale area just for them at the edge of the water park.
School-Age Kids: Let them loose. This water park is tailor made for them!
Pre-Teens & Teens: Young adults may think the spray park is too young for them. The nearby attractions on Granville Island will keep them happy.
Planning Notes
- Pack a picnic. It's easy to hop next door to the Kids Market for a snack or lunch, but if the kids are wet and don't feel like changing, it's nice to have some grub handy.
- Bring towels and dry clothes. Kids will be thoroughly soaked!
- Shade is scarce. Bring adequate sun protection.
- Feel free to join the fun. Children shorter than 42 inches can ride the water slide only with an adult. Fun-loving grown-ups are welcome to join the spray action.
