Famous People Players Description
Kids giggle and scream as larger-than-life puppets take to the stage (and audience members' laps!) for a musical tribute show filled with songs too old for them to know. The troupe themselves — all actors with disabilities — are inspiring, and kids get a hoot when they realize the waitress who served them dinner also performed. Filled with neon colors on a blacklight stage, kids can't help but watch as they have been doing for the 35 years that the show has been running. Expect ear-piercing laughter.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Younger kids will recognize the puppets from treehousetv.com's "Roll Play" show. A quick peek before coming will help to prep them for the show.
Pre-Teens & Teens: They're less likely to be thrilled by the childish comedy. Don't oversell it and they'll be OK.
Planning Notes
- Sit up front…or don't. Older kids will want to come early to secure the seats up front where puppet interaction is more likely, but younger kids may be overwhelmed when the 8- foot-tall ostrich tries to snuggle.
- Reservations Required. Call ahead to secure seats on the night of your choice and be prepared to choose from a menu with set options at the time of your call.
