Woodbine Centre and Fantasy Fair Description
The largest indoor amusement park in the province features nine full-sized rides — Ferris wheels, bumper boats and a carousel among them — in an 1 acre playground setting inside the mall. Most of the rides are pint-sized making it the perfect alternative to the big theme park attractions outside the city and weather is never an obstacle. While they play on the three-story indoor climber, you can hang out in the family rest area (couches and change stations) and take a breather… or line up to buy more tickets.
Kid Tips
Babies: They may be too young to ride, but they'll like watching the two-story Ferris wheel go by while you wait.
Pre-Teens & Teens: They wont be interested. Let them use the time to pick out souvenirs among the more than 200 shops.
Planning Notes
- Just my size. Height restrictions mean that being too little or too big can lock you out of the fun regardless of age. Most rides allow kids 36- to 54-inches-tall.
- Shops ahoy. Been hoping to pick up a few things at the mall? Now's your chance. Have another adult stay to supervise and you can head off to explore.
- Save it for the rain. There's lots to do outside in the city so save this spot for a rainy day/snow day activity. It may be a bit busier but sticking to weekdays will ease the congestion factor.
