Merced River Float Trip Description

Much of the Merced River is a gentle ride, ideal for renting a float from one of the nearby hotels (Curry Village is one). Along the way, you'll see grassy little islands and quite a few beaches perfect for swim breaks. For more adventurous types, outfits like Zephyr Whitewater Expeditions run full- and half-day rapid tours through rougher parts of the river.
