What we loved:
The ferry ride, view of the city
What we didn't love:
windy and a bit spooky
The idea of bringing children to a former penitentiary scared me a bit, gotta admit. But I'm glad we went. My 2-year-old enjoyed the ferry ride and became friends with one of the park rangers once we arrived. Too bad we didn't take the binoculars. There were electric shuttles that ran twice an hour from the dock to the prison building, but we didn't like the prison building, it was really spooky.
