Monterey On Ice Description
It's a rare treat to ice skate outdoors on the West Coast, and the Monterey On Ice seasonal rink is particularly festive. Located at Custom House Plaza near Fisherman's Wharf, it's perfectly situated so you see the colorful sights of the wharf and the pounding waves of the bay as you spin around the ice. Hot chocolate, fudge, popcorn and other goodies are available at the Old Fisherman's wharf to refuel chilled or hungry kids.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: Kids can try out their ice follies techniques with the help of knowledgeable staff who are on hand for impromptu lessons.

- Rent skates here.They're available in all sizes right at the rink for a reasonable charge.

Hours: Typically open from Thanksgiving to just after the first of the year. Monday to Friday, noon-10 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
Fees: $12 adults, $10 child (age 12 and younger), plus $3 skate rental for all ages.
