The Steinbeck Museum and National Steinbeck Center Description
Don't worry that this is going to be dry or dull, as we secretly feared. With its hands-on exhibits and real-world props, including the vintage Model T from East of Eden and Rocinante, the original camper from "Travels With Charley," it's actually a lot of fun, as well as a fabulous introduction to the life and times of John Steinbeck.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Young children will miss the literary allusions, of course, but will still have fun sitting on the life-sized Red Pony, riding in the Model T, and playing with the many action-oriented exhibits and games.
Planning Notes
