Cannery Row IMAX offers films on the members of the animal kingdom (some even in 3-D) for younger kids during the day and rock 'n' roll concert movies for teens at night.
Kid Tips
School-Age Kids: Choose the afternoon show (when we were there it was a nature-oriented 3-D about dinosaurs), since evening shows go late and tend to be PG-13 or R-rated.
Pre-Teens & Teens: Evening shows are teen-oriented; Give them money for pizza (served in the theater) and let them go alone while you have a romantic spa night or enjoy dinner in a restaurant that doesn't serve hamburgers.
Planning Notes
- Attend an afternoon show with younger kids. The nature-oriented movie selections (when we were there it was dinosaurs) are perfect for the under-12 set.
