Just about everybody can admire a cool-looking car, whether it's Herbie the Love Bug or a cherry-red Ferrari. Even kids will be psyched for a museum trip when it's all about popping wheelies. The Petersen celebrates 100 years of the automobile (a vital part of LA's traffic-crunched streets) with special rotating exhibitions on everything from Hollywood's favorite rides to alternative-power vehicles and mini microcars. Especially cool is the Hot Wheels® Hall of Fame, which includes both small- and full-size versions of some of the most famous models.
