Sleeping Beauty Castle and Walkthrough Description
Based on Baviaria's Neuschwanstein Castle, Sleeping Beauty Castle lowered its drawbridge for the first time on Disneyland's opening day in 1955. Enter the 94-foot castle from Main Street and turn left for the beautiful walkthrough attraction inspired by the film, Sleeping Beauty. Wander through winding hallways showcasing dazzling three-dimensional scenes from the classic film and relive the timeless tale of Princess Aurora and her evil nemesis Maleficent. Or stand on the drawbridge and listen to Snow White sing into the Wishing Well at her grotto to the right of the castle.
