Disney California Adventure™ Park Description
Adjacent to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure™ Park celebrates the California dream with three themed lands focusing on the beach, moviemaking, and the state's natural wonders. Highlights include a beachfront boardwalk and a white-water rafting expedition. With Disneyland right next door (they're connected by a public esplanade lined with shops and restaurants), there's enough here to fill several days. For those who can't bear to leave, the gorgeous Grand Californian hotel is inside the park.

Kid Tips
Babies: Rest rooms are immaculate and equipped with changing tables and diaper machines. Stop at the BabyCare Center to prepare formulas, warm bottles, and change infants.
Pre-Teens & Teens: The Tower of Terror, a haunted elevator which drops you 13 stories, is the perfect incentive for getting teens to go along.
Planning Notes
- Go on weekdays. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays tend to be the least-crowded days.
- Dress in layers. Southern California days are often hot and sunny, but nights can cool off significantly.
- Call ahead. Check the Web site for special and seasonal events, and confirm rides are open; some attractions are shut down periodically.
