Space Mountain Description
Whizzing through "space" at a top speed of about 30 miles per hour, Space Mountain® has become a kind of rite of passage, with many a coaster enthusiast recalling it as their first thrill ride, and impatient kids enduring the wait to measure up to that all-important height line. As thrill rides go, this one isn't too crazy (as compared to some of the other contraptions shaking folks up elsewhere), but it will still get hearts thumping. The only downside: Once kids ride, they might not want to do anything else.

School-Age Kids: It may take a couple of tries before a child musters the courage to ride. Reserve the right to back out before boarding.
Pre-Teens & Teens: They love it! Sit in back for the fastest ride; in front for the best view.
Planning Notes
- Get the FastPass®. Lines for this ride can get long, and the FastPass® Service can really save time.
- Height matters. Riders must be a minimum of 44 inches tall.
