The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure Description
Enter the story of Ariel, Prince Eric and the "Under the Sea" gang as the tale of The Little Mermaid is retold through sounds, music, color and effects. Nearly 200 Audio-Animatronic figures perform in this attraction that uses the Omnimover ride system to move guests through an enchanted world below and above the ocean.
Theme Park Attraction
Kid Tips
Babies: The lights and sounds will amuse little ones, and the clamshells allow for moms and dads to carry babies easily on the attraction.
Toddlers & Pre-K: The scene with Urusula, Flotsam and Jetsam (right after the "Under the Sea" scene) could be a bit scary for young ones, but the ride moves fast enough through it to lighter scenese
Pre-Teens & Teens: Teens might enjoy riding the ride once or twice, but they might prefer some of the wilder rides in the park.
Planning Notes
- There is no FastPass on this ride, but thanks to the Hanuted Mansion-like ride system, the line moves fairly well (although since the attraction is new, expect waits of 40 minutes to one hour at peak times)
- Two parents and two small kids can fit into a clam shell — so enjoy the ride as a family.
- Keep your eye out for a Hidden Mickey in the mural right before you enter the attraction (hint: look toward the bottom).
