San Luis Obispo Children's Museum Description
In some ways it's your typical "tot museum," but in other ways the San Luis Obispo Children's Museum has something special to offer. It's much bigger than your average children's museum, for one thing, with three floors of exhibits, some of them locally designed, others traveling national themed exhibits. Toddlers & Pre-K: The third (and top) floor is for the four-and-under set only, with lots of tempting interactive play opportunities. It's likely this is where little ones will want to stay, but older kids may prefer to check out the lower floors, so make sure you set a meet-up policy or split parents between different-age kids.
Planning Notes
- A variety of exhibits serves kids up to age 10. The programs offered serve kids up to age 10, with science-, nature- and art-themed projects to keep older kids from getting restless while younger sibs crawl and play.
