What we loved:
The smell when you walk in the door is mouth watering

What we didn't love:
It was a little crowded and hard to hear our guide

We gave our Brownies a choice of 5 tours in Phoenix and they all wanted the Candy Factory. A few years ago, it was not very interesting and we were disappointed, but friends said they improved it and they did! Our tour guide was enthusiastic and funny, she checked to be sure everyone got a taste of the treat for the day yummy candy coated marshmallows plus the tastes of chocolates and caramels. We paid for the girls to make chocolate pizzas and they gave us a coupon for a dollar off per girl, which helped, and the girls had fun. We also got discounts on the treats we bought at the little shop. Its not a long tour but it was crowded when we went at 10AM on a Wednesday. They added two extra daily tours during the summer months for all the camps and kids out of school, but its really more popular than we expected. You never know what the candy of the day will be-dont get your heart set on chocolate covered strawberries but everything is tasty. Not as sweet as some other chocolates, the mint is melt in your mouth delicious. Cerratas serves local grocery stores too and is a long time vendor at the Glendale city parties during the year. A family owned business, they really seem to enjoy having the groups now and you get to see the equipment up close and the stacks of supplies-giant cans of evaporated milk and huge boxes of nuts and chocolate! You could almost just swing by and do the tour for a treat. Bring a cooler if youre planning on shopping! Hubby loves the golf balls!
