Phoenix Art Museum Description
With more than 17,000 works of art, the museum's collection offers something for everyone -- and that's especially true for children, who can enjoy an interactive gallery created just for them. Hands-on art projects for kids ages 5 and up are included in the admission price, as is a backpack full of activity cards and puzzles related to the works on display for children ages 6-10. Special "Teen Seen" events, including film screenings, are geared to the 12-18 set.

Planning Notes
- Eat and be merry. The Art Museum Café by Arcadia Farms offers sandwiches, salads, and desserts as well as a children's menu.
- Hear it out. A free, bilingual MP3 audioguide to the museum includes information geared to the interests of children and families.

Hours: Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Thursday-Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sunday: noon - 5 p.m. The Museum is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and major holidays. The Museum is open to visitors on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and President's Day.
Fees: $15 (adults), $12 (senior citizens 65+), $10 (full-time students with ID), $6 children (6-17), free (children under 6).
