Grand Canyon IMAX Description
At seven stories tall, the Grand Canyon IMAX movie is one of the grandest your kids will experience. The movie itself, a 35-minute odyssey through the history, geography, and exploration of the canyon, is thoroughly mind-boggling, and will keep even younger kids entertained. Located at the new National Geographic Grand Canyon Visitor Center, 1 mile from the park entrance.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Kids under five may be bored, and the loud volume and swooping imagery is best appreciated by the 5 and older age group.
Planning Notes
- The film makes a great introduction to the park. If you're entering the park by car (not by the Grand Canyon Railroad), see it before you experience the real thing.
