Tusayan Ruins Description

The ruins themselves are not spectacular, just rows of stones marking the outlines of the Anasazi Indian community that occupied the site 800 years ago. The signs and exhibits, however, do a good job of helping kids imagine life in a harsh and challenging environment.

School-Age Kids: Continue the story of this ancient tribe at the museum, housed in a small stone building, which features artifacts and exhibits describing the daily lives and activities of the Anasazi.
