Anchorage Museum and Imaginarium Description
Teens and grownups will enjoy the free guided tours through Alaskan art and artifacts at the Anchorage Museum. But the real fun is at the Imaginarium and Planetarium, opening in Spring 2010. Kids can shake along with simulated earthquakes, look at the world from inside a giant bubble, touch animals, take in a laser light show, or journey to the outer reaches of the solar system. Smaller kids have their own gallery where they can touch, explore, and play safely.
Kid Tips
Toddlers & Pre-K: Head to the TOTE Kid Space, a specially designed gallery for kids 5 and younger.
School-Age Kids: Bubble Space is guaranteed fun for boys and girls alike. Animal and nature loving kids will like the Earth and Life Science area.
