Jackson Lake Lodge Description
There's no more idyllic setting in Grand Teton National Park than Jackson Lake Lodge, located on the shores of Jackson Lake. Instead of bunking in the main lodge, opt for one of the newly renovated cottages instead (mountain view cottages run about $70 more), with two queen beds and rollaways available for a nominal daily fee. With two restaurants, a coffee kiosk, and poolside barbeque on weekends, there are plenty of dining options available to guests.
Planning Notes
- Ditch your laptop. There are no televisions or Internet connections in either lodge rooms or cottages. If you must surf, you can snag a WiFi connection in the great room.
- Plan activities here. There are a variety of activities (horseback rides, scenic river float trips, guided hikes) offered through the Grand Teton Lodge Company, which runs Jackson Lake Lodge. Stop by the activities desk near the main entrance to sign up.
- Swim and dine. For a unique Jackson Lake Lodge experience, dine on Western style barbeque served buffet style Friday through Sunday nights at the Olympic-sized outdoor pool, located east of the parking lot. (Reservations strongly recommended.)
- On-Site Clinic. No parent plans to need it, but you can rest easier knowing that the only medical clinic in Grand Teton National Park is located at Jackson Lake Lodge.
