Put simply, the all-suites Great Wolf Lodge's one-two punch of combining rustic charm with state-of-the-art family entertainment makes it a surefire hit with kids. With on-site (indoor and outdoor) waterparks, restaurants, a loaded arcade, kids' craft room, and Wiley's Woods, a four-story indoor play area with tree foot bridges, slides, nets, and mazes, you'll never hear the words "I'm bored" during your stay. There's also a fitness center and spa for the grown-ups.

Planning Notes

BYO snacks and beverages. All guest suites have a miniature refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave.
A time-telling treat for the little ones. Have kids watch for the Great Clock Tower in the main lobby to come alive daily, complete with animatronic singing woodland critters and daily bedtime stories.
Bucket of fun. Prepare younger kids for the intimidating noise and splash of the giant "tipping bucket" near the kiddie pool area.
One slide is for big kids only. The massive "Howlin' Tornado" slide, its shell visible from the interstate outside the resort, is for older, braver kids only. Parents can ride the Tornado with kids on a four-person raft.
