Friday Harbor House Description

For extra special rest and relaxation, the Friday Harbor House is a treat you won't forget. High on a bluff overlooking the harbor, the breathtaking views and serene atmosphere make it a restful retreat, especially after an active day in the sunshine and ocean air. Each guest room includes a fireplace and a huge jetted tub (much to the delight of bubble bath-loving kids). In the morning, get an easy start with the continental breakfast (including delicious homemade scones). This is the place to stay for an intimate, restful experience.

Planning Notes

  • Make reservations well in advance. Children are welcome, but only a few of the guest rooms sleep more than two people. Large families should call ahead as early as possible.
  • Eat elegantly here, or more casually elsewhere. The hotel's Harbor View Restaurant is an upscale, gourmet eatery that offers dinner during the summer months from Wednesday through Sunday nights. For more casual or inexpensive fare, it's an easy walk to the endless dining options in Friday Harbor.
  • Leave Fido home. Friday Harbor House doesn't accommodate pets.
  • Best for families with school-age kids and younger. Older kids may lament the lack of a pool and scheduled activities.
