Watchman Campground Description
Just inside the south entrance to Zion National Park, this popular 151-site campground has paved roads, picnic tables, and access to Zion's hiking trails and to the park shuttle. Call ahead for reservations for easy and convenient camping where your family can enjoy some comforts but still be surrounded by breathtaking views.

Planning Notes
- Hotter than at higher elevations. In the valley without much tree coverage, Watchman Campground gets hot in the summer. Plan cooler, high-elevation hikes for mid-day to avoid overheating.
- Reserve early. Some sites are available for reservations and others are first-come-first-serve. At popular times of year the campground fills up quickly.
- Tent with a view. Sites with views of the Virgin River cost $2 more.
